We finally spilled the beans to the suspecting 'rents. I made mini scrapbooks with pictures of Kenzie in them for the Grandmas. We let the last few pages of the books do the talking with a picture of Kenzie in a "Big Sis" t-shirt next to an ultrasound picture. The last page was a pictureless layout with just a note saying "Save this space for a pic of me and my new brother/sister coming September 18th, 2008!!!
Scott's mom cried:
All in all, it was a great reaction from both of them, and a great way to end Easter Sunday. We are so excited to finally tell our families and get the word out that we are expecting. Kenzie is excited that the secret she wasn't good at keeping isn't a secret anymore.
They all reacted just as we suspected they would. As we handed them the books, my mom said "I know what this is" and when she got to the last pages said "I knew it!!"
